Fountain Pump

Fountain pumps are those types of pumps which supply water to fountains and devices used for aesthetic purposes and aeration in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. Fountain pumps can be both decorative and functional. It can be configured for use indoors as well as outdoors.

Solar power fountain pump :
Solar powered fountain pumps are ideal in those areas where it is difficult to access electricity. These pumps work reasonably well in sunshine. Solar powered fountain pump create special garden or landscape features such as waterfalls.

Electric fountain pump :
Electric fountain pumps are powered by electricity which is either directly from the mains or electricty passing through a transformer to produce a low-voltage current. A circuit breaker makes mains electricity much safer to use in the garden. If the feature is to be situated close to the house it may be possible to plug into an internal power supply. For an outdoor socket a weather proof socket should be fitted.

Direct-drive fountain pump :
The motor is encased in an oil-filled waterproof shell with seals around the cord and impeller shaft. The usual size and output power of direct drive pumps made small indoor or garden fountains difficult to construct.

Magnet-driven fountain pump :
This is also small tabletop fountain.The impeller is attached to a magnet that twirls in a chamber outside the pump. The chief advantage of this design is that the wiring is sealed off from the moving parts. Water and electricity are kept. Magnet driven fountain pumps are less bulky and small in size. Most small plastic pumps are of the magnet-driven type. These pumps are generally for indoor applications.
